Obituary

Annie Sue Duck Arnold, age 74, of White Hall, died Saturday, January 25, 2020.

Born at Bassett in Mississippi County, Arkansas, she was a daughter of the late Curry Duck and Lener Nash Duck. She grew up at Wabbaseka and attended Wabbaseka High School.

Mrs. Arnold worked at Oak Park Drugs for 20 years. From 1994 until 2017, she worked as a pharmacy technician at The Drug Room.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Arnold, on April 30, 2015; a grandson, Justin Brown; a brother, Earnest Duck; and two sisters, Mae Smith and Linda Hayes.

Survivors include her children, Jeffrey David Arnold of Sheridan and Deborah Arnold Hutson (Jack) of White Hall; a twin sister, Jennie Baker of Carlisle; another sister, Shirley Beliew of Stuttgart; and three grandchildren, Jordan Arnold, Hayden Arnold, and Loren Arnold.

There will be a memorial service Wednesday, January 29, 2020, 6:00 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Brother Matthew Watson officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.

I knew Mrs. Sue for all of the years that she worked at the Drug Room. As a customer she was always kind and friendly to me and my family. Please accept our sincere sympathy to all of her family and friends.

I loved Sue. She was a strong person who kept on going even when she was hurting and times were hard. She was a loyal and true friend to me and I will miss her and the laughs we shared together.
