Obituary

Lucy Paralee Wilson, 83, of White Hall, died Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at her home. She was born December 3, 1936, in Dyess, AR, to Laurence Lewis and Susan Tennessee Rowton Slaughter. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with the family business, Wilson Septic Tank Service, and was a member of First Baptist Church, White Hall. She was actively involved in the Bible study group at her church, and was remembered by her family as an early riser who could be found reading her Bible and enjoying a cup of coffee. She always enjoyed reading about things of interest to her, and had developed an interest in quilting until arthritis prevented her from doing it. She loved animals, especially her dog, Ladybug, and her cats, PC and Sunshine. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life and she enjoyed spending time with each of them.

She was preceded in death by three children, James Lee Wilson, Larry Ellender Wilson, and Pamela Coleen Wilson, as well as 6 brothers and 4 sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, James Wilson; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Cassandra Wilson; two daughters, Patricia Wilson Hulett and Rebecca Wilson Fowler; six grandchildren, Timothy Jason Burns, Tina Coleen Greene, Trevor Wade Hulett, Destin O’Dell Fowler, Larry Adam Wilson, and Tiffany Ann Wilson; six great-grandchildren, Timothy Christian Greene, Tori Christina Greene, Zane Riley Burns, Mackenzie Carlene Burns, Bryan Chase Wilson, and Bryan Karter Wilson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 15, 2020, at First Baptist Church, White Hall, with the Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Private burial will be in White Hall Methodist Cemetery.

Those wishing to pay their respects may view from 2:00-4:00 P.M. Saturday, or visitation with the family will be from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday at Robinson Fuller, White Hall Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, White Hall, AR.
