Lois Marie Gammel, 80, of Sheridan, AR, died Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at her home. She was born October 13, 1940, in New Orleans, LA, to Robert Harris “Bud” Bridges and Lois Adell McArty Bridges. She was a beautician, and later worked for White Hall School District. She was an avid bowler, having won several awards during the 1980’s. She loved to travel and spend time fishing with her husband, Bobby. She enjoyed time spent with her grandsons, and they considered her as their playmate. She was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gammel; a daughter, Renee Lynn Gammel; and a sister, JoAnn Blasengame.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Skip and Dana Gammel; one brother, Robert Harris Bridges, Jr.; one sister, Thelma Lee Dunlap; two grandsons, Ryan Gammel and wife, Cindy, and Kirk Gammel.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

I remember growing up with Lois and Bobby living across the street. She was always a happy lady and treated me and my sister, Marty as if we were one of her own. So sad to hear this. Prayers for the family
