Obituary for Joshua Daniel Caudell

Joshua Daniel Caudell, 29, of Tucker, AR, was a loving husband and father who loved fishing, the Razorbacks and serving others.

            He passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 in Pulaski County while answering a call to help his fellow officers.

            Joshua was born December 24, 1992 in Little Rock, son of Michael Caudell and Sue Ann Rawlinson Caudell.

            He was reared and received his early education in Redfield and White Hall, where he was active in the ROTC program.  He graduated from White Hall High School in 2011.

            Joshua served in the Army National Guard for eight years.  He was currently serving in the Arkansas Department of Corrections since 2012, currently serving as a K-9 Handler and Field Rider.

            He loved his job at ADC and loved working beside his brothers and sisters of the ADC family. 

            Joshua loved cooking for his family and friends and fishing. He was the biggest supporter for his oldest daughter, EmmaRae, with her 8U softball tournament team, often stepping in as a coach when needed.  Joshua never turned down a chance to serve.  He was also a charmer, especially with the older ladies and never missed a chance to cheer for his beloved Razorbacks.

            He was preceded in death by his son, Greysen Daniel Caudell; maternal grandparents, George W. “Pat” Jordan and Annie B. Fletcher Jordan; paternal grandparents, Charles D. Caudell and Betty Caudell; and uncle, James E. Jordan.

            Survivors include his wife, Lorna-Beth Hill Mason Caudell; two daughters, EmmaRae Carroll Caudell and Audrey Louise Caudell; son, Jeremiah Wyatt Caudell; mother, Sue Ann Caudell of Redfield; father, Michael Caudell (Marilyn) of Redfield; brother, Kyle Rawlinson (Hailey) of Pine Bluff; nephew and nieces, Chevy, Ryleigh and Lilly; aunt, Kay Jordan; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

            Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Family Church in White Hall.  Interment will follow in Cypress Memorial Gardens by Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Family Church in White Hall.
