Obituary

Joseph “Conlee” Jackson, Jr. passed, peaceably in his sleep, from this earthly existence on April 21, 2020 at his home in White Hall, Arkansas. He was born November 12, 1946 in Little Rock Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife Carol; step-daughters, Melinda (Gene) Blevins, Amy Brawner; and step-granddaughter, Jessica Peddy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Jackson, Sr. and Gladys; and his sisters, Diane Carson and Sarah Smith.

He graduated from Subiaco Academy in Logan, Arkansas. After graduating, he served in the USAF for 4 years, He went on to earn an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. He worked in his family business, Jackson Cookie Company in North Little Rock, which his parents had started during the Great Depression. After the business was sold, he owned a Jewelry store for many years. After this, he worked for Wal-Mart and Lowe’s until his full retirement in 2010.
