Jimmie Rae Ashcraft, 84, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2019.
She was born, May 21, 1935, in Beaumont, Texas, to Eugene and Beulah Hooks Craig.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening, crafts and many other talents. She was a member of Hardin Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was always willing to help serve in other positions.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Eugene Ashcraft, whom she married on October 23, 1954, in Texas; a son, Gene Ashcraft and her parents, Eugene and Dixie Craig.
Survivors include her daughters, Sherri Speiden (Doug) of Sherwood, Wanda Harvill of Daphne, Alabama, Dixie Young (Phillip) of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; a son, John Ashcraft (Merrill) of Chesapeake, Virginia; grandchildren, Crissy Ashcraft Jones, Billy Ray Ashcraft, Katie Sue Ashcraft, Sophia Speiden, Olivia Waldrop, Valerie Belles, Kyle Young, Sami Young Terchin, Kirby Young, Robert Anderson, Irene Anderson; great-grandchildren, Mark Harris, Halee Rae Flores, Addie Ashcraft, Catherine Waldrop, Maddie Young and Presley Terchin.
She was greatly loved by all and will be missed.
Visitation will be Thursday, 5 to 7 PM at Robinson & Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel.
Funeral service will be Friday, October 18, 2019, at 2 PM, in Robinson & Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Dr. G. R. “Ricky” Gray and Reverend Johnny Taylor officiating.
Burial will follow in Hardin Cemetery.
