Obituary

James E. Freeman, 90, of White Hall, went to be with our Heavenly Father Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born November 10, 1929, in England, AR. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, having been awarded the Korean Service Medal, three Bronze Service Stars, and the U.N. Service Medal. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was retired from Pine Bluff Trailer after 45 years of service, and previously worked in various other jobs. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, gardening, and enjoying a good meal.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eula M. and Kern R. Freeman; step-father, Clarence Faulkner; and a granddaughter, Kimberlee Dodson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 65 years, Ellouise (Gaddy) Freeman; son, James R. Freeman and life partner, Tess Smith; daughters, Mary Ellen Earhart and husband, Wade, Melinda Freeman and life partner, Jim Elam, and Denise Freeman-Miller and husband, Don; grandchildren, Keith Dodson, Misti Tiemann, Geri Ward, Miranda Dewitt, Jennifer Thompson, Stefanie Platt, Josh Freeman, Tyler Freeman, and Dusty Vilches; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Melba J. Edwards; and of course his special friend, Wrangler.

Graveside services will be held at 2:oo P.M. Monday, April 20, 2020, at Cypress Memorial Gardens. In accordance with current guidelines regarding crowd size, the service will be live-streamed at www.rfwhitehall.com for those wishing to attend online.

Viewing will be Noon-5 P.M. on Sunday, and 9 AM-Noon on Monday at Robinson Fuller Funeral Home, White Hall.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to special caregivers, John Gaddy, Margie Wallace and Saline Memorial Hospice.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
