Fredia McKinley, 81, of Redfield, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2019.
She was born September 5, 1938, in Little Rock, to William Eugene and Claudia Elizabeth Mattox Ellis.
She was a Baptist and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl McKinley; sons, Robert William McKinley, Claude Wesley McKinley; her parents; Brothers, Claude Ellis and John Eugene Ellis.
Survivors include her children, Tommy McKinley (Deana), Paul McKinley (Patty), Jeannie Holland (Wayne) all of Redfield; a brother, Tommy Ellis of Hot Springs; a sister, Rosa Lee of Conway; grandchildren, Chris McKinley, Landon McKinley, Tiffany McKinley; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to the Elite Hospice team, especially Edana, Robyn and Barbara.
Visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2019, 6 to 8 p.m. at Robinson & Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel.
Graveside service in Redfield Cemetery will be Saturday, December 28, 2019, 10 a.m., with Revered Steve Brickey officiating.

I worked with Fredia at NCTR and the lab at Redfield back in the late 80s and early 90s. Never was there a sweeter, kinder lady than Fredia. She talked about her children and grandchildren and little Robert a lot. You felt like you knew them all. I appreciate Fredia and her unwavering belief in God and her caring personality. I can see her in my minds eye; I can hear her voice, that sweet gentle voice as she tried not to yell at me. :-) I love you Fredia, fly high my friend. I hope you knew you were and are loved.

Dear Paul, Patty, Tommy, Deanna, Jeanne, Wayne, Chris, Landon,Tiffany and ggchidren, I am so sorry for your loss of such a precious mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to so many! My heart hurts for each and everyone of you. May God grant each of you peace as you mourn your loss. Heaven has gained one more precious soul. May God’s perpetual light shine upon her. Love Bettie
