Obituary

Ethel Everine (Brown) Funderburg, 101 years old, passed away peacefully at Trinity Village Skilled Nursing Facility in Pine Bluff, AR, on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.
Ethel was born Mar 29, 1919, in Texas, to the late Carlee and Myra Reed Brown and grew up in Kingsland.
A member of Calvary Baptist Church, she was a lifelong homemaker, wife, and mother. She loved music and learned to play the piano and organ late in her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Gus Funderburg, Sr, in 2008. She had 10 brothers and sisters, and is survived by one sister, Nila Faye Lackey, and one brother, Ernie Brown, both of White Hall, AR.; She has two children, Linda Funderburg Sadler, of White Hall, and Gus (Debra) Funderburg, Jr. of Bushnell, Florida; five grandchildren, Leanne Roberts, Beth (Mike) Metott, Richard (Angela) Funderburg, Christopher (Crystal) Funderburg, and Jeffrey (Heather) Funderburg; and ten great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to the staff at Trinity Village Skilled Nursing Facility for all the love and care they showed to her and our family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Trinity Village Skilled Nursing Facility, 6400 Trinity Drive, Pine Bluff, AR 71603.
A graveside service will be held Monday, July 20, 2020, at 11:00 AM, at Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff.

Dear Family Of Ethel,
Your Mom was so sweet!! Sometimes she and my Mom, Margaret Ann Dawson, who died May 9th would be at the same dining room table and your Mom had the cutest personality!!! I loved her so much !!! I will miss her alot. We all loved her. She was a true gem on earth. Robin Dawson and Dana McLellan

Gus, so sorry about your mom but what a life she had. Not many people are fortunate to live until they are 101. Prayers for you and your family.
